The Galway Community Centre will serve as a multi-functional space for events, cultural celebrations, and community gatherings. 2. Site Selection and Design

• Location: Identify a central, accessible location in Galway with good public transport links, ample parking, and proximity to other community facilities.
• Design: Engage architects experienced in cultural and community spaces to design an inviting, flexible building. Include spaces for large events, small meetings, and outdoor gatherings.
• Sustainability: Incorporate energy-efficient designs, sustainable materials, and green spaces to create an eco-friendly center that aligns with Galway’s environmental goals.

3. Key Facilities and Spaces

• Event Halls: Large, adaptable spaces for major cultural events, festivals, and gatherings. Configurable for seating, standing events, or exhibitions.
• Meeting Rooms: Smaller rooms for community group meetings, workshops, language classes, and cultural exchanges.
• Multi-Purpose Room: Versatile rooms for various activities like art exhibitions, dance classes, and youth programs.
• Cultural Library and Resource Center: A space with books, media, and materials on Irish and international cultures, supporting learning and cultural exchange.
• Outdoor Areas: A landscaped garden or courtyard for outdoor events, seasonal festivals, and communal gatherings.
